An SEO Wordpress Theme for all
Posted on | January 8, 2008 | 64 Comments
Elements of SEO, like it says above, is a free, clean minimalistic Wordpress theme. Built with search engine optimization in mind, Elements of SEO will help your blog get better rankings with little or no tweaking from you.
Immediately after installed, Elements of SEO is pre-built with all of the sidebar sections you see to the right. Elements of SEO is also widget friendly so you can opt to completely customize both sidebars.
Your already taking the theme for a test drive so there’s no need for that link but you can download Elements of SEO over here.
If you have any questions or problems check out the Elements of SEO post page to learn more.

If themes can effect rankings, then elements of SEo is best. i used it for so long, then I tried another and I’m feeling like it’s the theme’s fault for my slipping rankings.

I need such theme in two not three columns. “Elements of Seo” is the good one, but it can not be tuned for the wider main column and narrov right…
August 10th, 2009 @ 8:10 am
@const
As of right now, the theme won’t work in just a two column layout.
I designed it about 3 years ago and I probably don’t have time now to make edits to it. Sorry.
Of course it would just be mostly CSS manipulation, so if your up for it you can feel free to modify the code however you like.

Companies should incorporate social media into their SEO strategy.
With a growing number of people using sites like Twitter and FaceBook, it’s not enough for a company’s website to be search engine optimization friendly, it must also be social media friendly.
August 12th, 2009 @ 2:16 am
Many companies now especially those who are just starting are now hiring Search Engine Optimization Specialist. Maybe their main purpose is for branding, for them to be famous in their nature.

Some joomla template developers have a “templating engine” that serves content to spiders before everything else.
Usually, first served is header, then left column, then main content etc.
In those templates, main conent is served first, then main menu module, than left column etc.
Does any of WP themes serves content like those Joomla ones?
October 30th, 2009 @ 12:44 am
i am still looking for a good SEO plugin for Wordpress. my blog is not ranking high enought for the keywords that i wanted to rank.
October 31st, 2009 @ 1:50 pm
Templates/themes do impact SEO results.
It is not just what is serverdm but also how is served. It a template/theme has a lot of code before the targeted content, it won`t do same as template/theme which has small piece of code before the content.

I love this theme. I have not set up my site with it yet, as I have been doing some modifications and integration work for my static site that will host my blog with this theme.
I love the simplicity yet stylish feel of it. The site it will be on is linked to my name and will hopefully be live by the end of the week.
Thanks for such a great design.

I really like this theme. I finally got it all up and everything I wanted to change except one problem. I don’t think it is a theme issue, but my post titles when displayed on the permanent address show up as h1 tags rather than h2 tags. The thing is that I don’t have any h1 tags anywhere in this theme except for the blog title. so it must be a WP thing.

Thanks for the latest release as well yeah. I love that you keep the HTML code to a minimum and that you attention to semantics.

I love the simple layout and design of Elements of SEO 1.2. Thanks! I have one question regarding the navigation links in the header files. How do I update them please? I’d like to create additional links and understand they need updating in all 3 header files but exactly how do I do this?
